Bound and Beyond: Structure in Book Art

Featuring art from the Special Collections at the UWM Libraries, this show presents a breadth of book art focusing on structure and design. The works on display range from pieces that fit in the palm of your hand to pieces you walk through as you read each word, and introduce the viewing to the versatility of book art design. Pieces selected push the boundaries of what defines a piece of book art and explore political ideals, minimal design, whimsical story tell, and dark dramas. Explore the innovative, structural ways in which artists conceive the book as art. 

Artists include Keven Brunett, Kristin Thielking, and Daniel E. Klem.
